She was one of the people who set the company’s Facebook Pixel in the first place. Now, she is responsible for optimizing Display Ads (Google Ads & Facebook Ads) to increase traffic, conversion & revenue.

Prior to that, she also worked in another ecommerce company Tokopedia as Search Engine Marketing Specialist and an advertising agency called InboundID mainly handling PPC Ads.

#1 Can you explain to us what your typical day looks like at your current company?

Every day, I usually check & analyze the performance of each channel on paid media like Facebook Ads, Google Ads, Programmatic.

Make minor improvements if the daily performance doesn’t achieve the target, solving the technical issue with the product team.

Do A/B testing to know what is the best segmentation audience to achieve the KPI.

#2 Biggest myths and misconceptions about Facebook Ads?

You need a lot of money to get started.

Truth: You only need $1 a day to compete with the big brands.

There's no big upfront commitment required and no large minimums. You're free to take things as slowly as you'd like and only scale when it makes sense to do so.

While it's nice to have a large budget to bring in enough conversions and learnings to optimize your campaigns, sometimes all you need is a small daily budget to start bringing in leads and customers.

On Facebook Ads, a little can go a long way.

#3 Your proudest professional achievement at your current company?

I started my journey at here when the company wanted to expand its channel on paid media, especially Facebook Ads.

We completed the Facebook pixel and app event parameters in detail, so we can build the segmentation audience in specifics for every campaign.

#4 What drives you to work in your current industry?

The first thing is a paperless & casual job, you can work from everywhere.

In 2015, I think Digital Marketing has a bright future and a sexy sector, so I need to study Digital Marketing as soon as possible. I recklessly got into a start-up company even though my family disagreed, but I believe that digital marketing has a bright future.

#5 Things you wish you could have learned earlier in your career?

Public speaking & communication skills.

I am an introverted person, I am working in front of the laptop on a daily basis, speaking in public is my biggest problem.

I didn’t know why I said yes when RevoU offered me to be the speaker on the sharing sessions expert. RevoU sharing sessions expert is my stepping stone to fight my fear of speaking publicly.

#7 Your tips for someone who is interested in starting his career in Facebook Advertising (aside from applying to RevoU :)?

Digital Marketing is so dynamic, we can get a lot of updates every single time, so we should always be eager to learn, update to every Digital Marketing news and be an adaptive person.

Digital Marketing is not exact math 1+1=2, so we need to test & learn to know what works well & what works bad.

The fundamental skill of a Facebook Ads specialist is data analysis and logical thinking.

From the data, we can learn and get an idea of how to win the campaigns.
