Nigel is Senior Media Analyst at VaynerMedia, an international agency owned by the entrepreneur and internet personality-- Gary Vee. His role in the company mainly focuses on client-facing role, where he interacts with internal and external stakeholders from pre to post campaign, including but not limited to paid ads and programmatic in the APAC & CN region

Previously, he worked at SGInnovate as Assistant Manager, Digital Marketing. He led the project for revamping the business’s website while analyzing it’s performance with analytics and managed the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools, in which he works with data as the basis to execute marketing strategies more effectively.

He will be one of the instructors at Revou Digital Marketing program, specializing in performance measurement and budget allocation.

#1 Can you explain to us what your typical day looks like at Vayner Media?

A typical day would be looking after and optimising my live campaigns, planning for upcoming campaigns, building new ads, and working together with my team to ensure that we achieve our clients’ goals efficiently.

#2 Biggest myths and misconceptions about Digital Marketing?

It’s just all fluff, and that it’s just about posting a few posts on Facebook, Instagram or Tiktok. It goes way beyond and the realm of digital marketing is endless!

#3 Why is measuring performance so important in Digital Marketing?

In everything we do in life, it is important to have objectives, and measure success along the way so that we keep moving forward. It is the same for digital marketing :)

#4 Your proudest professional achievement at Vayner Media?

Working on a pro Bono campaign together with Facebook, for a SG based SME called Tinkle Arts :)
